Is this an Ameruacana or Easter Egger Rooster? UPDATE

I saw this on craigslist and they're calling him an ameraucana but that big ol' comb has me suspicious. I need a rooster and I'm not too picky, so, for curiousity's sake, what do you informed folk think?

It appears this "Ameracana/Easter Egger" Rooster is having an identity crisis - he layed an egg

So I guess Andy is back to Annie again and those poor misguided folk gave away a beautiful bountiful brown leghorn pullet. Me happy!

I am a ccomplete non-expert, but huge comb, large wattles, no muff/beard - hmmm. He is a beautiful boy, though.

It is certainly not an Ameraucaner, because it does not have any charcteristics of it. I may have a 9 weeks old beautiful EE cockerel for you. Not sure what age range you are looking for, but mine has these cute puffy ear muffs.

Agreed - that is a hen, not a rooster. Some hens do start crowing when there's no rooster around. Maybe she crowed and he's convinced she's a he.
