Is this an Easter Egger?

Picked up 8 babies last night, four of them supposed to be Americauna or Easter Eggers. What does this look like? It looks different then the other EE's that are his egg-mates.

If you picked up the babies from anyone but a dedicated breeder of Ameraucanas, then you are in possession of EEs.

Believe me, you'd know if you had paid for purebred Ameraucanas.

Hatcheries are notoriously loosey goosey about calling EEs by the wrong name. I think they believe they can get better prices by claiming to have Ameraucanas. Very disapointing to first-time chickie owners.

Legs look green and it looks like there is a muff. I vote EE. Cute, too.

This was a local guy that had them. I went to pick up Silver Lace Wyandottes and noticed a second pen full of babies. He said they were Americauna. I asked if they were EE and then he said yes. So I don't think he knows what he is talking about. This one looks different then the other three EE's that I got from him.

Is he an EE or something else?

I've had 5 EE's, and every one of them looked different. That's the great thing about them !

Very cute chick! Looks like it could very well be an EE. They do often have that leg coloring.....There are so many color variations of the EEs and Ameraucanas.

I'd say all EEs I hatched this one out of a blue egg mom is an EE and dad is a blue Ameraucana

Looks like an Easter Egger to me. They come in a whole rainbow of colors, but I've seen plenty that color.
