Is this an EE cockeral?

This chick is 4 weeks, nearing 5 weeks. Three very distinct rows of peas, ever so slightly pink. Legs seem thicker than my other EEs and the deeper red color is coming in splotches. Am I right??

I can't really tell, most try to wait for six weeks to guess gender. If I HAD to guess, I'd go roo from the leg thickness.

I'm thinking cockerel. I had a columbian based red like that before, and the big tell-tale sign is the solid red feathers coming in there on the shoulders. Plus from the poor view I have of its head, it appears to be boyish.

Better pics would tell. A good view of the back especially without the wings covering it,

Reminds me of one of my boys. Had the pullety look for a while but then started getting the red in the wings. Comb never was really big. He's 12 weeks now.

His comb isn't big exactly, but it definitely has the three rows and the leg thickness is noticeably different from the others.

I vote boy as well. He's got a lot of red bleeding into his wingbows.

looks pullet at this point in time...i dont go by leg size i have a hen that has bigger legs than my roo both are the same age. try waitint anouther week or 2 then post us some more pics
