Is this Angel Wing ?

Now I am confused some of you are saying that's angel wing and some are saying it's not, What should I do?

Sorry we don't mean to be, to me that does NOT look like it but wrapping won't do any harm, if you look at the picture i showed that is AW.. to me it looks just like the quills of the feathers.. the wings turn out sideways when angel wing is the cause.

Yes, this is classic AW. Pretty one though, nice shiny feathers. Here is a page on wrapping get help it will require 4 hands, heck even an extra pair if they are pretty untame.

NOt sure, you could do a
'loose' wrap, honestly i had a young drake do a droop and i left him as he grew it got less and less to now he's perfectly fine... he was just rapid in growth and big, french white.

Thank you so very much for the helpful information. I wish I had asked when he was younger and smaller! I had never heard of AW and was hoping it would get better, but it just keeps getting worse. Thanks again!

Eesh - at 3 months it may be too late, especially considering how severe it is. But it's worth a try. I agree on the loose wrap, get your vet to do it if you aren't sure how. Wobs' minor case of AW is causing her right wing to droop again so she's been re-wrapped. I put a sock over her to stop her from tugging at the wrappings, too. Here she is showing off her pride!

That study with the Canadian geese has me convinced its dietary ( at least mostly the diet ) Once the high carb human feed was removed the next generation had zero cases of AW. It's likely though in my mind that some genetic weakness is also at play or 100% of that goose population would have had it.... It's very interesting.

Hi Guys, This is my 4 months old Duck Lily and She is growing her wing's feathers out.
She is hanging her right wing since one week , Is it Angel wing? If it is please confirm it,
So I can start her treatment.

I know this has nothing to do with your post, But what breed of duck is that. I've been trying to figure out why my ducks have a upright tail like yours does. It looks like a Rubber ducky if they were yellow. But They aren't. Both of them have it one looks to be mallard mix, or ruen mix. The other looks to be a magpie mix. I say Mix because they have the coloring of it. But not the body structure. Both of my ducks Wings Hang a little over the tail, It seems like its because their wings are so long, but their tail is so upright they just fall into place over the tail, because they hold their wings so high towards the end. That it just drapes over. They can flap move their wings just fine, if they want they can hold their wings correctly. They are just lazy about it.

It's Ancona Muscovy mix .
Ducks which are crossed with muscovy are usually having straight up tail.
