Cockerel all the way. Also btw, he doesn't have tufts, he has a beard and muffs. Araucanas have tufts. Judging by the yellow on the bottom of his feet, he's an Easter Egger not an Ameraucana

He's still gorgeous no matter what he is though

Tough one, but if that were my bird I'd call it a roo. EE/Am can fool ya - I had a white one that looked girly in body shape and coloring (except for the red comb) until about 14 weeks when the saddles came in. How long has the comb been red?

LOL I thought the little feathers on the side of his head were tufts??? Doesnt an EE lay multi colored eggs? The hens that my friend has only lay blue to greenish eggs. We just figured that to be Americaunas. She got them from Atwoods. Thanks for the info

Well, I got a closer look today and sniff sniff, I see pointy saddle feathers. His comb has been red for a couple weeks
