Is this blue partridge?

The parent birds are all golden partridge Brahmas but this cockerel from one of this years batches is looking a little blue

I did buy one of the parent hens from another breeder so I don’t know if she would of had a little bit of blue partridge in her...
any ideas ?

Looks blue to me. Maybe the new hen is a dark blue partridge instead of partridge?

That’s Great!
He’s a keeper then, So if I bred him back to a partridge hen would I get 50% blue partridge and 50% partridge ?
The mother hen must’ve been a mix of the two.
