Is this book worth it?

I've usually found Storey Publication books useful, but am wondering a little because it's almost 10 years old and the price for a hardcopy is a little steep.

(I usually like reference books in hardcopy because you can't easily flip through an ebook looking for that half-remembered page where the info you need is).

Can you get it at your local library?
I've done that sometimes when deciding whether to buy a book or not.
(Even if they don't have it, they might be able to get it through interlibrary loan-- but check for fees first, because some libraries charge you and some don't.)

I don't have a library card because we moved during Covid and it was closed down. I got out of the habit of going to the library a dozen years or so ago because the small town we lived in had very little variety and most of that in genres I didn't care for. :D

That makes perfect sense :)

I've lived in some places that had very useful libraries, and some places that did not.

But one of the libraries with an otherwise disappointing collection did do interlibrary loans with no fee, which was very useful a few times when I wanted unusual books!

NICE!

I had no-fee ILLs from anywhere once, back when my now-adult kids were little.

Everywhere else it's been in-county loans only.
