No, what it means is you are feeling the "kernel" ... it HAS to come out....it will only get worse, and he's such a beautiful roo. I applaud you for going the extra mile to fix him up. Watch and re-watch that video to get the feel of what you're going to do. Make sure you have a helper with you. Surprisingly he really won't feel much of anything in the way of pain when you cut it out of there. Once you're "in" make sure you get that kernel and all the pus/gunk you can get out of it. Sigh, I was hoping there would be a resounding consensus on the best course of action! Gander, are you thinking this is something other than bumblefoot? Or that you were able to successfully treat a similar case of bumblefoot on the toe using only the Epsom salts? I just want to make sure I am understanding the different opinions on what I should do. Thanks again to everyone!
