Hi friends! My Tuna had what I think is mild case of BF. Last week I picked her up and saw a black scab…she had it for weeks but it was very thin and shallow. I was keeping an eye on it. I scrapped it and the black scan came off with some yucky stuff attached to it. I also was able to squeeze a bit of yellowish/whiteish ick out of her foot.. there was not a large kernal as some report. I cleaned and have been bandaging for nearly a week and now it looks almost like BF again? No infection.. she is walking fine. Could this be a healing scab? I really would hate to have to pick this one and start over for nothing? First pic is the day I removed and second one is today.. 5 days later. Thoughts?

That yellow stuff attached to the scab you originally removed was the kernel. You appear to have done a good job. The new scab looks good, not black or thick. The foot appears to be on the way to healing.

You made my day thank you! It resembled the original BF so I was concerned. When I removed the BF originally it wasn’t a deep kernel like many videos out there show. Thank you!

Hi there! Thanks for helping with multiple flock issues! I was hoping to share this BF pic.. 2 weeks(ish) of wrapping… does this look ok? It still has a fairly large scab. She isn’t limping and acting fine. Should I redig this or leave alone? ☺️
