Is this Bumblefoot? Or something else?

Hi everyone!
My rooster has had these red legs for at least 6 months. I tried to treat him for bumblefoot but it didn't seem to help (maybe I did it wrong?). He seems to manage just fine and it doesn't stop him from trying to attack me every time he sees me (he's a total jerk). But maybe he would stop being so rough on his hens if I could fix his feet. When his 6 week old son is old enough to replace him, I am really considering cooking him. Until then, I'm trying to work with him.

Does anyone know what's wrong? Or is this just normal for his breed?
Also, is his comb normal? It's bright red when he is excited or hot, but it sometimes has blueish tips.

I hope I got enough photos because getting them was a nightmare. He is all wet at the moment ... he was trying to attack me while I tried to clean his feet for the pictures.

The leg looks swollen to me, like he injured it somehow. As for the blue comb, that isn't a natural color. What have the Temps been where you are?

Bumblefoot swelling typically starts at the footpad, before moving up through the ankle, and foot (black circle) but the swelling I see is more within the joint it's self (white circles.) If it is bumble, the swelling also usually has a hard feeling in it, and often has a scab where the infection started.

We are in Southern California, It's 76 right now and it was warm yesterday too. When it's hot his comb turns bright red. Or when he wants to mate or sometimes when he gets worked up trying to fight my dogs through the fence. It's been like that most, if not all of his life. Could it be a defect? or an illness?

Thank you for your response. What do you think I can do for his foot? I wonder how he got injured

Looked dark blue in the pics to me.

If it is just a sprain, it will usually get better with a few days of separation. A dislocatio would be the same treatment, just longer, broken bone would need a splint and more time still.

Epson salt baths can help sooth injured muscles and joints as well.

It does get pretty dark sometimes. Do you know what could cause that? Is his comb too big or something? I am really grateful for all of your responses. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you.

I'll give him an Epsom salt bath tomorrow.
No. I don't know for sure. I do know if it gets to cold frostbite can turn it that color. Being unwell can make it paler, fever can make if brighter, hormones supposedly can as well.
