This is my pet duck, Benny. I noticed these places on the bottom of her foot today. She also has some on the other foot, but they're not nearly as bad. I believe this is Bumblefoot, but I wanted some other opinions.. I tried to pull the scab off with some tweezers in order to push it out but it wouldn't budge and it also bled a lot but it did show signs of infection when i poured peroxide over it. So I stopped messing with it and soaked both of her feet in Epsom Salt water for about 20 minutes...I'm going to put some Neosporin on the infected places and wrap them in gauze until tomorrow..Is there anything I'm doing wrong or any advice? She is my only duck and she is very much spoiled! I feel bad that this is happening with her. :(

i've only seen bumblefoot in my chickens...but this looks similar. The way we treated my chicken was bathing her in epsom salt and scrubbing her feet clean. we used tweezers and a sterilized exacto knife to remove the bump. we poured on some peroxide on and re-cleaned the area. we wrapped her foot with gauze and secured with athetic tape...which she pulled off lol. Some bleeding should be expected but if its alot...i would stop. we kept her inside for a weak, cleaning everyday AND bathing every day because i also spoil my chickens! It sounds like what you did was right. best of luck to you and your duck-friend! (treats also help )

Bumblefoot can get in any poultry (ducks, turkeys, chickens, etc)...
