Is this bumblefoot

Please help, not sure if this is bumblefoot or not? I’ve never dealt with it before so need some expert advice please. What do I need to do to make it better?

It does look like bumblefoot. Try soaking the feet in warm Epsom salts water daily for 15 minutes minimum. Opening the scab and squeezing out any pus is the usual treatment. Applying antibiotic ointment and a padded dressing afterward is good. There are many ways to treat bumblefoot, including the surgery. Some use a drawing salve like PRID, or betadine and sugar on a dressing left on for several days. Posting on the duck thread where experts such as @Isaac 0 and @Miss Lydia can help. Thank you for your reply! I feel so terrible for not noticing sooner. They are all acting normal, no sign that anything was wrong, it’s only that I picked one of the girls up today for a cuddle and noticed it Hopefully the Epsom salts will work.

Only thing I’d add is pus in ducks is thick like cottage cheese so doesn’t squeeze out so good but using a pair of sterile tweezers you should be able to pick it out. Soak good before you try you may even need to soak a few days first.

Thank you very much for your advice. I think it must need more soaking as it was still pretty tough after 20 minutes of soaking. I will of course carry on until it’s all gone , which will hopefully be sooner rather than later.

You can eat the eggs as long as your not using antibiotics with a withdrawal period.

Does this look like a severe case? It’s on one of my other girls feet, I’ve been soaking them for a week now and it does slowly seem to be getting better. Any thoughts?
