Is this Bumblefoot?

I've had chickens with the scab on their footpad and have done the surgery without finding any infection, causing needless surgery and stress on the chicken. Sometimes the scab just goes away on its own. But if there is redness and swelling, and the bird limps... time for surgery. Keep in mind that limping doesnt always mean that bumblefoot is the cause, same for swelling (usually without the scab though, as with gout or MS.)

Okay thanks! I'll give a thorough examination of the foot tonight after dark, and maybe put some antibiotic cream on just in case.

X2. Another thing I look for is heat in the affected foot and/or leg.

This is his foot after I soaked them with Epsom salts for about 20 min. One of the spots came off last night and left pinkish skin. I tried picking at the other and it just seems to be tough yellowish skin? Looks like a callous to me but I'm no expert.
