Is this Bumblefoot?

Miss Marple has been limping for a few days. Is this Bumblefoot, and if so, should we try to cut it out?

Started out with a warm Epsom salt soak. Miss Marple was so sweet and patient.

Here is the scab after softening in the soak, we massaged it and cleaned up the foot a bit.

We took an exacto knife and cut around the scab at an inner-facing angle and pulled it off with some tweezers.

Kept squeezing and digging a little (not sure if we got the kernel, but it looked like we were just digging into her foot after a while!) Hope we got everything out! Wiped with iodine, filled it with neosporin, covered with iodine-soaked gauze and vet-wrap. We'll check in a few days to see if it seems to be healing okay. She got some treats for being such a good girl!
