My guess would be that the extra ones might’ve had some other colors in them. Like I also bought some lavender silkie eggs and was told the extra ones were white.That’s interesting. I didn’t know that could be a thing. There’s a lot that have that going on.
I bought blue bantam Cochin eggs but she gave me 8 extra eggs. Maybe they weren’t all blue?? And clearly one was frizzled. Not complaining…variety is the spice of life.
