Is this Clear shell/carapace? A sign of worms?

Help me figure out if this is worms or some other type of medical issue, or is it just indigested bug carapace?

I'm not extremely experienced with chickens, but to me it looks like dander from new feathers. Hopefully someone with more experience can confirm this.

Looks like kertin sheaths from feathers.
How old are the birds - are they juveniles - any molting going on?

Oh wow that totally makes sense! The feather shafts being sloughed off!
