here’s my black ameraucana x barred rock cockerel at 13 weeks old. These are the last pictures of him, though, because my brother’s boss bought him for her flock. He’s a lot older now, but I’d have to ask her to take a picture of him.

It is so hard to tell. I have the same question about my light barred rock pullet. The dark barred rock pullet right next to it is the same age but much smaller. Can anyone tell the gender?

A picture of the saddle area will be helpful? This will help confirm gender.

Not great photos but possibly might be helpful? Do you mean the saddle feathers around the neck or the area where the rooster would mount a hen?

I am not really an expert on sexing but it looks like a cockerel. Anybody else think so?
