Hello every one, getting a trio of vorwerks today and was stressing about where to put them. Come home from shopping to find my other half had made me this Chicken coop God he's my saviour ! I love it, but not sure if its big enougg? D what do you think guys ? It's 54sq ft (7.2x7.2ft).

He's a farmer and gets 2 days off every 12 days and found it so sweet he put effort into doing this on his day off ! :)

Looks big enough for 3 birds. Not sure of the design though. It looks like the box area is the only place for shade or cover from bad weather. Also unclear of the function of the gable roof panels in the run. Perhaps the cross bars below it are roost bars?

The cross bars are the roost bars yes. Erm the box is there only shade yes, I'm working on making a bigger one for them. How big would you make it ? X

It's not netting it's metal wire fencing that's been stapled to the frame

It looks like chicken wire - what you want is hardware cloth. Chicken wire is meant to keep chickens in, not keep predators out. So if you're concerned about safety, it's not going to work. It also look like gigantic holes in the wire, that looks bigger than the typical 2" chicken wire.

I would definitely cover about half of it to provide shade, and with a run that big you'll want some way to get in there yourself. :)

So sweet of your other half but I'd be concerned about the wire. It looks like chicken wire. Chicken wire is not strong enough to keep out most predators. Hardware cloth is a little pricey but it's a lot stronger.
