Is this coop too small for my 10 chickens?

So I bought and build a double coop for my chickens. I have 5 light brahmas and 5 black stars. Does this look like enough room for the 10 of them or should I maybe just build a bigger coop???

I think they'd definitely need more room. I find most premade coops to be too small for even the number of chickens recommended with the coop. Will you free range?

Find the spec sheet on that set up, or grab a measuring tape...

Recommended minimums are 4 sq ft in coop + 10 sq ft in run, with 1' linear on roost and 1 sq ft per bird in ventilation. This does not include nest boxes or other floor space eaten up by feeders, waterers, etc. Plus Brahmas are pretty big so you may need to bump that up over minimum.

So you're looking at needing something like 40+ sq ft in coop space alone. No clue how big that is but just at a glance, I don't know if there's 40 sq ft there in total.

You need a bigger coop. Prefabs are almost ok for bantams but no good for standard size hens. The more space you can give them the fewer flock issues you will have. There's not enough run space for 10 chickens & no space to add things for them to do. I can almost guarantee they will fight & feather pick, even with some free range time.

A guess:
These coops seem fine for 2-3 bantams each. Or 3-4 small bantams each. Maybe you can accommodate two normal sized chickens in each coop.

The run is fine to keep the doors open for ventilation and for the chickens to go outside until they can go out into a larger run or to free range. Do put tiles or hwc around on /in the ground to avoid digging predators coming into the coops.

You probably need to add more ventilation opening on the highest point under the roof.

PS
You also need a place outside the coops where the feed stays dry. Even with nasty weather. 3 sides with hwc under the coop and no door to open for easy acces is not convenient.

IV seen those coops, they have like a silver tray U can slide out and beside them is the nesting area, however if you remove the "perches" inside over the silver tray (if they have those) you can fit four birds in one of those coops, if you lay grass/hey bedding across the two nesting areas and also the silver tray. So all up in the double coop U could possibly fit eight birds imo, if it's build the way I assume.. only at night time for sleeping then they free roam during the day outside of coop.
