It might be if there's a bad smell when you put your nose close to hes head.

Is it the same on both sides of his face?

Look inside his mouth. Is there lesions in there or is it clean and pink?

If there’s a foul nasty smell coming from the nares, eyes or mouth, is most likely Infectious Coryza. If there is no smell, then you’re most likely dealing with Mycoplasma Gallisepticum (MG).

It could be mycoplasma (mg) or coryza, but he also could have been pecked in the eye. Is there a bad odor? Is he sneezing or having noisy breathing? Testing by a bet would be the only way to confirm the problem, since there are at least 8 respiratory diseases in chickens. I would try to clean the pus out of his eye, flush it with saline or eye wash, and apply some plain antibiotic ointment twice a day. Terramycin is sometimes available at feed stores, and plain Triple Antibiotic Ointment can be used if that is not available. If it is mg, tylosin can be given in the water. If it seems to be coryza, sulfadimethoxine or bactrim can be used to treat symptoms. Either disease will make him a carrier for life, and the disease would always be in him. Here is a good list of common diseases and symptoms including ones above:

Respiratory disease affect chickens for life. It’s a permanent lifelong disease that is chronic and they’ll carry the disease for life, shedding and spreading it to non-infected birds. Don’t breed and keep a closed flock.

It's only in one eye. Five chickens developed this during the past week.
That’s normal. You need to clean out all the pus that’s in there or else if it’s left, it can cause a bigger infection, especially to the actual eyeball or make them permanently blind for life.

We’ve been dealing with Coryza for two weeks & this is basically what ours looked like as well. We started on antibiotics and they are all looking a lot better, although we did loose 7 ☹️. Ours had a really awful smell too as others have posted.
