We were told she was a golden comet when she was little an definitely a hen as she was red. But ... she's crowing on a regular basis. But she's red!

    Thank you both for replying!
I just can't figure out how to post a picture. Messages say it's not allowed for newbies. [IMG]

You have to have a certain number of posts before you're permitted to post pics. Has to do with spam prevention. [IMG]

How old is he/she? This time the "You'll know when it crows" may not be true. You may have to wait for an egg. [IMG]

Thank you all so much for your help! Jody Jo, she looks so much like yours BUT her comb and wattle (?) are bigger. She hatched the first week in April. Her tail, also white and red just like yours, is a little bigger. I am going to post a few more times to make sure I can send a picture! We hatched her at my school and we've added a coop and run to our grounds. She is part of a flock of 3 - beloved by her now first grade chick mamas who got to see her hatch. If she laid eggs, they would be brown, right?

    Thank you!
