Hi guys, one of my amberlinks laid an abnormally large odd egg. Does this look normal compared to her other typical egg?

My Golden Comet lays an odd egg like that on occasion, then goes back to laying a "normal" egg (which is still crazy big compared to the others). I think its just a side effect of being a high production bird.

It looks a little funky, that can be normal or a shelling glitch.
How old is she...did she just start laying, either first timer or back after molting/winter break?
Could be double yolk, open 'er up!

"Normal" encompasses a lot of things. What is normal for one bird may not be for another. I have one that lays long football shaped eggs regularly, normal for her. I have another that lays ginormous eggs always, again normal for her. So it could be a glitch, or could be her "normal" depending on age and history.
