Story time!
8 went to rural king a few county’s over. I saw this chick plus a few other in a bin. Of course I picked it because it’s absolutely cute! But is it even a chick? It’s larger and heavier than the other chicks. I kind of think it’s a turkey. Anyone want to chime in?

Yes this is a chick , it probably just sat at RK a bit longer than the others , it is not a turkey poult.

That’s why I got it, but it a lot heavier than the others.
Some chicks are hefty buggers.
That beak is wild.I haven’t seen that coloring on a chick yet. Hopefully someone else will guess correctly.
It's an Easter Egger with typical Easter egger pattern.
