How do you force broodyIt’s very dangerous. It’s incredibly taxing on a hen to lay do many eggs. It’s causes premature aging, and puts her at high risk for reproductive issues.
Make sure she always has access to calcium.
If it were my hen, I would try to get her to stop laying for a big and see if that fixes it.
There’s a couple ways you could go that-
Hormone implants done by a veterinarian
Restricting light
Force broodiness
Restricting light is difficult since she will need to be crated with lights out at certain times which can be stressful. Hormone implants are probably the most fool proof option, but finding a vet that will do them is tricky. Forcing broodiness would be the least stressful, and the most fun, but it’s obviously not guaranteed she will go broody.
