It’s very dangerous. It’s incredibly taxing on a hen to lay do many eggs. It’s causes premature aging, and puts her at high risk for reproductive issues.
Make sure she always has access to calcium.

If it were my hen, I would try to get her to stop laying for a big and see if that fixes it.
There’s a couple ways you could go that-
Hormone implants done by a veterinarian
Restricting light
Force broodiness

Restricting light is difficult since she will need to be crated with lights out at certain times which can be stressful. Hormone implants are probably the most fool proof option, but finding a vet that will do them is tricky. Forcing broodiness would be the least stressful, and the most fun, but it’s obviously not guaranteed she will go broody.

You can break a broody but forcing a hen to go broody by hormone injection? That could do more harm than double oviposition

Not with a hormone injection. My crating and simulating what a broody would do. I’ve never tried it myself, but gave heard it works. Like I said, never tried it myself.

Doesn't take much to trigger my birds to go broody. All I have to do is leave a dummy egg, or two in the nest for awhile, & boom, I've got broodies.

The ladies in the bantam coop I don't have to even try to encourage, they get broody on their own.

I've got 2 broodies in the standard coop, & 4 broodies in the bantam coop.

Same! With my bantams at least. Everyone of them was broody last year, it only took one vacation where the person forgot to collect eggs.
