I’m new to chickens and I have 4 roosters that live together. We had been pretty much conned by Tractor supply, so instead of hens we got roosters. I’m a little attached to these guys so I’m not too keen on parting with them unless it’s necessary.
My favorite rooster named Bruce, has black raised spots on his comb, I’ve noticed it a lot more recently and seems to be spreading? I’m not sure, but I figure it could be two things, Fowl Pox or they’ve been fighting. They have been picking on him a lot recently, and I’m just not sure what to do. If they’re fighting I’m going to have to make some decisions and if it’s the pox I’ll se what I can do there.

looks like fighting and blood from bite wounds
They do seem to bite his neck from what I’ve witnessed. So I’ll most likely have to get rid of them. I do suspect he’s the lowest in the pecking order as well. But I just want to make sure that it’s not the fowl pox as well. I’ve tried to wipe it off but it didn’t seem to come off with a wet rag. So I’m not sure; I’ll most likely have to get rid of two anyway. Do you think I should get the fowl pox vaccine anyway?
