Not Yet, still trying to get her cleaned up so I can see what I'm doing, and also trying to get over the actual grossness of the whole thing. I have a weak stomach when it comes to things like this..I didn't know things like this could happen. I may call my sis in law to see if she can come help. She seems to have a better grip on things..

BTW, what is the best method of cleaning. It seems like there is dry stuff along with the wet. I have tried soaking in warm water. Maybe a soft spray? I have a shower head that can just about reach...

Best thing for her is a warm bath.
It may relax her enough to pop that egg out.
And it gets clean at the same time!

I tried that last night, but it doesn't hurt to do it again and again. My sis in law said she'd be happy to help. If there is an egg, and it does come out, what is the best method for pushing her vent back in? I've seen honey or olive oil, is it like a hemmaroid (sp) in humans, like giving birth to a large baby? What about wiping the area with a soft cloth or wet paper towels? Will that hurt her?

I've heard Preparation H is supposed to be good.
Yes, similar to a 'roid. Swollen, inflamed tissue needs to be soothed.

Get some of those latex medical gloves, too.
If it gives you the heebie-jeebies fishing around up her butt, it may make it better having a little protection on.
