Is this French Black Copper Maran a pullet or roo?

I had two born recently and one has a little copper on its head right away... would that usually indicate boy? or just a chick with copper on its head???

I have a feeling it's a boy. The breeder said she would take it back for trade. But I think roosters are stew there, and I understand that but have gotten slightly attached. Enough that I don't want it to die. I don't want babies so I would have to seperate it if it stays here. I think my closest neighbors wuld not be too happy about the crowing. I am going to see if any of my other neighbors would like he/she.
The color is such a nice deep black with hints of green on the back. So pretty for a 5 week old. thanks everyone for the thoughts.

That's a huge comb any waddles? Ours where hatched the last week of February and they barely have bumps.

yes, waddles are there. not huge yet. 5 weeks 2 days and counting. the white underneath is disapearing.
