Is this fungus or something else?

Rooster is about a year old, this developed a while ago but seemed that it might get better on its own but has not. It is definitely not frost bite as we are in south florida, thinking it is probably some type of fungus but not sure. I also have a hen who has diahrea , at one point she laid a very large egg and not long after that stopped laying and has gotten diahrea. Just this morning I saw that it seems like she might be developing dark areas on the tips of her comb.
If anyone one knows what might be causing these and has a cure please share. A vet is not really in the budget right now but I would like to do whatever I can to get these guys back to full health. We also just had 4 new chicks and I want to be sure this does not spread to them.

Also I purchased some antifungal spray that is made of undecylenic acid and was planning on using that to see if it helps.

The rooster's issue is easily resolved by dabbing a bit of Blu-kote on the lesion. Whether fungal or bacterial, the Blu-kote will treat it.

The hen may be suffering from a reproductive track infection and an antibiotic could be tried. But first rule out a crop disorder by monitoring her crop over the next 24 hours. If it's still full in the morning, you will need to treat. It could be related to the reproductive infection, though.

That's what I use. 250mg once a day for ten days. Or split the dose in half and give twice a day for ten days. However, the hen rarely regains the ability to lay eggs after an infection.

That's what i have as well, they are powder filled capsules. What would you do to administer them?

I'm lazy. I just stick the 250mg capsule into the patient's beak, making sure she doesn't fire it back out, and that's it.
