i was told that my hen was a PR. NOW that winter coming her feet has grown feather, I'm pretty sure she had the feathers before since I saw little pores on her feet. But I want to know if she is really a PR.

No, I really don't believe she is a P RIR. Our P RIR (we have 83 P RIR), are a medium toned, mottled, reddish to mahogany brown color, and most became darker in hue as they aged. Some are a bit lighter in color, or have a few light feathers, and black/ iridescent feathers at tail/ neck/ but none are nearly as light as your pullet, or near the same color.

My guess is that you have a New Hampshire Red, mixed with something else to get the feet feathers. (RIR and New Hampshire do not have feathered feet.) She's a pretty girl though. Someone else may have another idea.

No, you have a mixed breed. Something red, maybe a Production Red, crossed with something feather-footed. Cochin, maybe?

I was told she was less then a year old, she just got of her broodiness. She layed 13 infertile eggs
