Is this information correct about hatching eggs?

Hello and welcome to BYC!😊
I just quickly glanced through it. SOME of the information looks accurate. I would not waste money on the cheap $50 incubators on Amazon though. Best if you can get something like the Nurture Right (NR) 360 or something from Brinsea.
As far as incubating and hatching your own chicks, many excellent articles here on BYC. Check under the articles section.
You can also join a "hatch a-long" and get help from many knowledgable folks who are also hatching at the same time.
Good luck!

Hello, and welcome to BYC! I think you'll find that this forum is very helpful in all your poultry endeavors!
I didn't read that article, btu both of these BYC articles have fantastic and very accurate information on incubating and hatching eggs. If you have any more question feel free to post them in this thread.

I also agree with the above poster, DO NOT waste your money on a cheep incubator. You'll end up buying a more expensive one when the cheep bator fails, and thats the price of two bators. I'd look into the Nuture Right 360. One of the most reliable bators out there. Not crazy expensive either.

Some of that information is correct but a lot if it is not. We can all have different opinions but some facts are just wrong. I'll include a link to this article. I think it's more pointed to commercial hatcheries than us but it does have a lot of useful information. Some of it is too technical or not suited to us hatching but I consider it a good starting place.

I'm not sure what kind of information you are after. Are you trying to select an incubator, collect and store eggs for hatching, actually incubate them, or how to manage them as and after they hatch? Books can be written on any of these items. If you have specific questions we can try answering those. If you have specific areas of interest we can give you our opinions. It is easier to answer more specific questions or write on specific topics.

You can go tie the Articles tab at the top of this page and look in the Learning Center for lots of articles. I can't vouch for the accuracy of any of those articles but you can get other people's opinions. Those opinions can vary so I suggest you read several articles instead of relying on just one. Here's a link.
