Is This Lice?

Will the spray will work then or not? Online it has 4.5 stars. I don't want to spray my birds with chemicals. That will be my last resort if nothing else works. The bird that does have lice never comes into contact with the others. The coops and runs are in an area thats fenced in. He roams everywhere except there. The other birds show no signs of lice. I can't find anything on them. I've been trying to find something to put sand/dirt in for them to take a better dust bath in. I can't find anything. What should I use? Will dust bathing help to get rid of the lice?
The poultry protector spray will not get rid of lice.

Any of the permethrin products will.
Lice can and will kill chickens.
Use something to kill the lice before the lice kills your birds.

Permethrin comes in a premixed easy to use noeasure spray, like I posted first.
A concentrate liquid That must be mixed with water. The amounts you mix depends on how concentrated of a product you buy.
Or....
It comes in a powder.

You could use some kind of big trough positioned shortly above ground level half sunk in) and fill it with dust, wood ash, fine sand etc. It should be in a spot that is well covered so it will stay dry at all times.

To entice them to explore, sprinkle some corn or wheat on top.

Permethrin will rid lice. Not sand or poultry protector spray.

Dust bathing can help prevent a lice infestation.

This was what I found for permethrin. Is this ok?

I don't have a trough, but that's a good idea. I looked for tires, but they all had rims. I have something that's a good size, but it's only 4-5 inches tall. Is that tall enough?

I have no idea why, lol.

I understand, and we used to be the same way. Now we use permethrin dust or spray.

Have you ever treated your peafowl for lice? Lice love peafowl.
What should I use?
Permethrin spray or dust.
