She was fine yesterday. Just started doing this an hour ago. 11-12 week old EE (and her rooster who is upset I just separated her).

Can it be something else?

I posted this and now she’s walking around (pacing rhe cage I just put her in) but I’m worried.

Yes, it could be Marek's, but you would need to have her blood tested to see. If it's Marek's all your chickens have been exposed. Separating her is futile.

Two other causes could make her wobbly. If it has been very hot, she could be suffering from heat sickness which causes stumbling and leg weakness. Giving her electrolytes with extra sugar can cause a dramatic recovery.

Another cause is toxic exposure to petroleum distillates. Insect spraying, rodent poison, and fluid leaking machinery where the chickens pick up grit can cause precisely these symptoms.

A third cause is vitamin B deficiency and vitamin B complex for a month to six weeks might help.

Ok thank you. She doesn't have any other signs of Marek's, so I'm still hopeful. I will try some supplements. It's weird, she did that for about 30 minutes, but since then has been normal. I noticed because another (older) chick pecked her a few times.

She's been free ranging the last few days, and today and yesterday it's quite hot, so all those things are possible. I'll have to just watch her and hope for the best after that.
