Is this moulting or a coyote attack?

Feathers are all over yard. Small and fluffy. Chickens are missing and have been for days, right following a rainstorm after having been let out of the coup. Let me know your thoughts on the photo I’ve attached. Thanks. Devastated and could use the feedback.

If your chickens were molting they wouldn't lose all their feathers or be missing. Sorry for your loss.

It appears to me to be from a predator. If you have a camera put it up because it will be back and then you should know for sure what has been lurking. I have several game cameras up on my property and most night when the predators roam here, I usually see one at at least one of the cameras. Good luck.
This was last night. I cleaned out my scratch container and put it out and put up a camera to see if any critter would check it out and a rabbit did as well as a fox who chased the rabbit. I'm going out in a little while to see of there are any signs of the rabbit or remains. This not a very good camera but one that wasn't being used.
