ive noticed hes been sleeping like this for the past week.. is it something i should be worried about? or is he short a few feathers?

I got scared when I first saw mine to that... after I realized they wern't dead I loved it.

Yes that is a great picture! I think they are just adorable when they do it.
 
Yes, I ordered 30 keets this year and they would sleep like that, only all of them would be in a circle, feet in, head out around the heat spot from the light. I called it the doughnut effect, the wife called it a wagonwheel. Sorry, I didn't take pictures.
 
Love how those legs go straight back. Like it's passed out. When I got mine the first day they were sleeping like that and I assumed they had a really rough ride (after figuring out they weren't dead or dying) But they slept like that often afterwards.
 
yes it is normal if it scares you when they do this you can out something inside they could roost on so they will roost instead of sleeping looking like it is dead. Works with mine
