Hi, i have 18 eggs in my incubator right now (homemade). 12 are on day 7 and 6 are on day 8, i have lettered the six and numbered the twelve. Today i candled about half of them and i found something that i thought was odd. Egg #4 is almost totally dark (its a dark mass, not solid) and conmpared to the others ther is a huge difference since the others are smaller. And my light is not bright enough to see such, and my eggs are a medium brown, so i can only see an air cell and a dark mass that ranges from huge (#4) to normal size. What do you think?? Here are some pics that i took today:

Kind Regards

It's hard for me to tell anything as your candling light isn't bright enough for my inexperienced eyes. I bought a 140 lumen light from the hardware store and I was able to see veining in my ameraucana eggs by this stage; I would've liked an even stronger light but it was all I could afford. Can you buy or borrow a stronger light? If not, I would probably leave them in the incubator and hope for the best. Good luck!

Ordered a candler from GQF it's one that is a candler as well as something else ( I forget lol :) )
And a forced air 1602n hova bator with an auto egg turner. But the fastest that I could get them in is March 26- April 3, after my eggs hatch :( I guess that I will put them all into lockdown and hope that none explode

I can't tell anything from those pics. I use a fishing spot light but honestly, I don't even candle anymore. Sometimes right before lockdown. Just had some hatch today, My temps were like 102 for a week or so before I adjusted it, so I wasn't expecting anything and my humidity was only about 46% AFTER I added water. Helped one out of its shell but got 8 out of 18 with absolutely no care... except bad. I hatched these for a photographer and after she is done with them, I am giving them to my maintenance man.

Once again, relax and let God.
