Is this normal rooster behavior?

it's completely normal, they crow when ever they feel like it, but how sweet he is.. ur just lucky. my roosters nothing close to sweet, he will charge at me and peck me!

I am very Blessed. Wow, sounds like a little meanie. Lol What does he look like?

I'm always amazed at the range of rooster temperaments. There are roosters that love to be bathed, and enjoy it when you trim their claws, and rub their feet. There are others who believe the proper social distance between humans and chickens is simply that no humans should ever be within sight of chickens. There are roosters who gently court their females, leave her alone if she isn't interested, and give all of the treats to their girls - and others who hog all the treats, and pursue the females violently.
