Is this normal?

Omg I know right? First thing in the morning, I run out to say good morning and feed and water. Many trips outside to talk to them. Then last thing at night they get their goodnight song I made up when our first batch ever were spending their first night with us.
OK so you know you have to post a video now of this goodnight song so we can all learn it and sing it to our chickies too!

I need all the bonding strategies you've got....I've been keeping chickens for almost two months now and I've got my third batch of chicks coming in the mail next week!

Not sure how to

It won’t let me post video but here are the words: “Goodnight little chooks, goodnight little chooks, goodnight little chooks, it’s time to go to bed. Goodnight little chooks, goodnight little chooks, goodnight little chooks , lay down your sweet heads.”

My husband would have me committed if I start singing to my chickens. He already thinks I'm nuts just getting chickens.
What you do is have him name a couple then always say look how cute YOUR chick is, your chick is looking nice. That sort of thing even if you are the primary caregiver. It will give him some fatherly attachment.

Ever since I got my first chicks about a month ago, I've lost interest in most regular activities in my life, including my job. All I want to do is stay home and be with my chickens. Is this normal?

:barnie:barnie:barnie:barnie
before I got the first 6 barred rock chicks I would sleep till 10-11 AM , since then the latest I have slept is like 0800 Am So yes that maybe normal, just remember u may need the job if for nothing else those chicks be needing food.

Yeah....except when that backfires and his sweet little Estelle turns out to be a rooster. :barnie

Except for some reason my brain is singing it to the tune of the song in "Love You Forever" and now I'm :hit
