some people have told me i shouldn’t take my ducks for walks, because they are not dogs. but i take my ducks on walks with their harnesses and they love it. i take them to ponds, which they love. so, has anyone ever took their ducks for walks and is their any reason i shouldn’t do this?

I don’t have ducks but I see no problem with taking them for walks. I was thinking of doing the same with one chicken but I don’t even walk my dog (he roams our property on his own) so I definitely will not walk a bird

I dont see any problem with taking them for walks, as long as you can actually take them for a walk, It'd be like taking a bucking bronco for a walk with my ducks.lol

I guess it depends on the walking surface, I don’t think they should be on hot pavement or anything. You can make shoes for them though to protect their feeties, plus it would be hilarious!
I’ve seen pics of people walking their ducks, so it definitely happens!
