I got her from Metzer farms (I think ) I had a wonderful experience with them. Only had to order 5 and they were fast too. So she is a White Crested from Metzer if anyone wants to know.

Will she let you put barrettes in it now?

From what i've read it's okay to trim her feathers from right in front of her face. I wouldn't cut off the bigger quills but that soft fluffy stuff could be cut off if it is bothering her.

I will get more pics soon... She is pretty dirty now because its too cold for the pool. She needs to go to the beauty parlor to fix the doo! She won't keep the barrettes in anymore. She flings them off her head now, and I won't bother her. Hope she starts laying eggs soon.

She is absolutely adorable!!!! You are very lucky... and no doubt everyone wants one. I bet she keeps her barretts in longer then my own daughter will!

Thanks... She is fun to watch and yes, when she was a baby, she kept them in for hours or until she didn't fit under something and knocked it off. She had 3 of her favorite (ones that stayed in well) barrettes. Too funny!!

i can picture her sitting in a chair at the hair dressers, with the little cape thingie on getting a trim. lol
