This was a fresh dropping. Can you tell me what I am looking at and for in this dropping? What do you see as abnormal?

It looks like a combination of cecal poop and regular poop, which is normal, but the bubbles, mucus, and consistency are abnormal. It should be creamy, like peanut butter.

it is coccidia or it is worms, for worms put some Safeguard goat dewormer and then for coccidia i would recommend Amprolium or Corid

Thank you. So should I be medicating now and if so, for cocci or worms or both?

I just finished dosing with Safeguard, 2 doses over 10 days measured by bodyweight for roundworm. The 14 day egg withdrawal stinks but at least they are worm free. Seems to work pretty good.

I ordered Valbazen online. It should arrive tomorrow. I'm just wondering if worms and cocci look the same. I've never seen blood which I know can be cocci and that was what I was looking for. So cocci can show up without blood? Is there no visible way to tell the difference between cocci and worms?

So this was before treatment. Only found one like this but pretty evident of worms.

This was after the first treatment. Now they are back to normal minus an occasionally gravelly loose one. Poop reading can drive you crazy lol.

Yes, only round worms and sometimes tape worms are visible in the poop.
