Is this poop something to worry about?

We just brought home some chicks today, I believe they were kept indoors, they are 4-5 weeks old
Someone did a white goopy poop with a lump of orange-red in it, is this the intestinal line shedding or coccidsis or something else? They are all acting normal and eating and drinking

What are you feeding?

The white is urates, it could be due to dehydration, are they drinking o.k.?

Stress of moving to a new home can be hard on them. I'd see that they are drinking well and eating a chick starter.

If the poop continues to look like that or you see any chicks that look off, lethargic, fluffed up, not eating/drinking or active, then treating for Coccidiosis would be a good idea.

You can find Corid at TSC.

iquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Feeding chick starter, they did have a little over an hour drive so they may have been dehydrated, but they are drinking plenty now
I’ll monitor them closely for the next few weeks, I haven’t seen any other similar poops after they were eating and drinking normally after the drive
