If it has five toes on each foot and Faverolle 'body type', it may be a white faverolle.

It has 5 toes and looked like all the other salmons except it was all yellow and was only growing white feathers...confused I came here to byc but can't find much info on white faverolles...

Do a forum search on 'white faverolles'. There are several threads about them. Apparently it is not all that uncommon for white birds to occasionally be thrown by salmon birds.

There are very, very few white Faverolles left in the US, bantam or LF. It will be interesting to see if he/she remains pure white at maturity or if there is salmon leakage. Leaky whites are somewhat more common but still unusual.

You should post in the Faverolles thread.

Ok, I'm starting to post around to see if I get more bites, it was a surprise to see a white chicken...she only has a few faint marks of light gray on her very first feathers, all the others are white so far and the chest, back and legs are coming all in white too. Does the salmon leaking come in after molting?

I did see the grey in the primaries, which makes me think she may have salmon leakage as an adult. You are correct, it really won't show through until she molts.

So I posted new pics on the faverolles thread and I guess my next question is , do you still try to breed it even if it leaks salmon or is it worse to breed these lesser quality whites? Thanks for all your help!
