10 week barred rock from farm store.

I bought her in a group of chicks marked pullets, but her head is very light in color compared to her sisters. No difference in comb though!

Optimistically using female pronouns. Sorry if I am misgendering you, Butternut 😆

Is this rooster booty?

Because I am inexperienced and the information out there is all over the place. The lighter color in barred rocks supposedly means rooster? Curling feathers around butt, thought that was a sign too. But that's why I'm here asking! 😅
Shes not a barred rock (at least not a proper one), but if she was, what people mean by lighter coloring is that male barred rocks have more barring than females so they look lighter.

Both sexes have feathers that curl like that but on males, the feathers will be long, skinny and end with a point.

Thanks! I wonder what mix they are, since the consensus is that they are not PBR as advertised at Wilco. They were also selling Wyandottes and white leghorns from Cackle at the time, and that's about it.

*edited to correct store name
