I use a natural mite spray on their legs. Works with 3 treatments.I've watched YouTube videos on how to treat it but does anyone on here have a certain way they treat it?
Thankyou! Should i separate her from the flock? Btw she is the only one in the flock who has it! Weird?I use Ballistol Animal Spray which creeps into all the crevices and underneath the scales and suffocates the mites including their eggs.
Spraying every other day for ten days (five times).
No need for separation, but I would spray them all as scaly leg mites are contagious, but mostly only noticed after at least one year of their greyish feces accumulating and lifting the scales.Thankyou! Should i separate her from the flock? Btw she is the only one in the flock who has it! Weird?
Thankyou so much for the advice! No need for separation, but I would spray them all as scaly leg mites are contagious, but mostly only noticed after at least one year of their greyish feces accumulating and lifting the scales.
Ballistol Animal is a natural spray so no need for egg withdrawal.
