Is this shrink wrap?

I am new to hatching and I was wondering if this little one is shrink wrapped? He is making progress with the shell but that coating is there. It does look like some of it is torn so there is air going in. I am just starting to freak out because he is at day 25 now!!!

That chick is zipping. The membrane is torn, too, so I think you just need to relax and wait for it to continue to zip that shell (peck more holes along a line around the egg).

Some chicks just take longer.
