Is this SL Wyandotte a roo or hen?

My SLW cockerel had much more wattles at that age, but my pullets are not as red. Here is my Georgie at 14 weeks:

Are you sure about the age on yours? Is it possible it's older than 13 weeks? Here's one of my roos at 16 weeks and another of one of my pullets at 16 weeks. My girls today at 17 weeks are showing very little red.

That is probably true. I was just showing her what mine look like for comparison. Mine are from eggs from a breeder so I think they are probably slower maturing than the hatchery birds. All my wyandottes are fairly slow maturing birds.

We processed a SLW that looked much like yours, at about that age, or a week or 2 older, along with some other extra roos. It was a mean, aggressive bird. But it turned out to be a hen.

I would go with hen as well. My SLW cockeral had a much bigger comb and wattles at a much younger age.

The redness could also be from the temp depending on how hot it was. In the 100 + degree heat we have been having everything on my chickens get red.

She's a hen. I have some SLW the same age that look the same with a little variation in the lacing. Their combs and wattles are starting to get redder by the day.
