Hi 12 week old silkie saw this little bump on the beak feels hard any ideas on what it could be ?

It looks like it dould be a sore from a sharp feeder, but these types of bumps can be from papilloma viruses. Sometimes they will fall off after some time. Please let us know what happens, and in the meantime, put some Betadine or Vetericyn on it.

Thanks so much for the response , is this contagious to other chickens and is it life threatening to them
