My Silkie flock...nothing but trouble this week.
I have a hen that yesterday threw up clear water. It was when the rooster had mounted her, I didn't see her actually expel the liquid, I seen fluid coming out of her mouth and went to look and found a little pile of clear, non smelly liquid.
Today her crop is very ballooned and squishy. I haven't noticed anything foul smelling yet. I don't know if it's impaction either. I have just introduced scratch grains to them (within the last couple of days). They have a bowl of grit and oyster shell, pine shavings, and a hay bale in their coop/stall and a large bowl of water.
