That is definitely a crop. They can look a little loop sided from time to time. If the crop is realy hard and you can't squish it a bit then there is a problem.

Do they have grit? Can you put the food and water away tonight and see how that feels in the morning before it eats or drinks? If it is still hard like a rock you may be dealing with an impacted crop.Yeah, this one was firm like a rock.
