Is this too much in terms of medication for preventing future diseases?

Would giving the following medication be too much for my birds? I am really paranoid my birds will get a disease someday.

Generally speaking, the best preventative is a a healthy diet and good housing.
You really shouldn't give them any medication to prevent anything, which it probably won't and most medication shouldn't be given before a bird is sick.

Medication is used to treat disease, not to prevent it. You will just create resistance to the medication if you give it routinely when your birds are healthy. Then it will not work when you need it. Frankly, I wouldn't use a product like that. Too many very disparate diseases that it claims to treat. It does not even identify the "medication" that it contains. Would do more harm than good, IMO.

Thanks, I missed that. All I saw was the "contains 100g of veterinary medicine " part. Still agree, too many meds.

Interesting. I didn't know pigeons raced. Don't know much about pigeons. Though I love their relatives.. mourning doves. They sound so lovely with their cooing

I forgot to mention that ronidazole is banned for use in poultry, and sepsinol might be banned too.
